3 recipes with Txakoli to make at home
Txakoli with Denomination of Origin is a high quality product that can be enjoyed in an infinite number of ways. Perhaps the one I knew best could be that moment when we enjoyed this incredible wine with friends while chatting. However, we cannot forget about Txakoli and gastronomy, since it has become another ingredient to obtain dishes full of flavour. This white wine is widely used, above all, to get a good background in stews.
However, the truth is that there are many recipes where we can introduce this product and today we will talk about four simple recipes where we can use it:
Potatoes with clams and peas in Txakoli
A dish with a lot of history where, despite the fact that Txakoli is not the main product of the dish, it provides a fresh flavour.
To prepare it, we must start by cooking the peas in a saucepan and, in another pan, sauté the potatoes with garlic and spring onion. On the other hand, make the clams with garlic and oil in a casserole and add a glass of Txakoli with Denomination of Origin and cover them for a few minutes.
Finally, we put the peas and potatoes together with the clams and we would have the dish ready.
Mushrooms with txakoli
A classic in the kitchen. An easy and delicious dish where we can incorporate the Txakoli with Denomination of Origin.
To prepare it we only have to put in a pan sliced garlic and a cayenne pepper and sauté it for a couple of minutes.
In a frying pan with a dash of oil, chop a couple of cloves of garlic, a cayenne pepper and fresh parsley and sauté. Next, add the mushrooms cut into pieces and a glass of Txakoli, over a high heat so that the alcohol evaporates. After two or three minutes, we lower the fire and leave them covered so that they are finished.
Hake with Txakoli sauce
A fish dish with a lot of flavour that can be made perfectly at home and that can be prepared by anyone, even if they do not have a high level of cooking.
We start by browning a couple of garlic slices with a splash of olive oil. Add a spoonful of flour and stir for a few minutes to make it, and add a small glass of Txakoli with Denomination of Origin. We turn up the heat a little so that the alcohol evaporates and pour in fish stock and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Finally, we add the pieces of hake and put them in the casserole with the sauce that we have made so that they are done little by little. At the end of three minutes, we turn them over so that they can finish doing it and we let them rest for another 5-7 minutes.
