We rarely stop to think about all the good things the Cantabrian Sea has to offer. Its cold waters bring us so many good things… And fish is one of them. The best and tastiest species are found in this sea.

Basque Cantabrian White Tuna, is a canned product made with Thunnus alalunga, and stands out for its special flavour and smooth texture. Moreover, it is a product of very high quality, which makes it a suitable food for the diet of many people.

These are the summer months when this fish is found in the waters of the Cantabrian Sea feeding. The fishermen, for their part, do the work of fishing by hand and catch the Bonito one by one, following traditional methods.

The Basque Cantabrian Anchovy are another of the great canned fish we can find in this well-known sea. In this case they are the months of spring when their fishing is carried out and they are many the boats that leave in search of the anchovies.

In a traditional way, the fishermen work with purse seine nets to make a more selective fishing and not to harm other species that live in the same waters.
