The next fall, the Caprice project will have its first promotional event of 2020 as part of its activities in the US. The appointment will be at Exchanges312, a new space for gastronomic events, located in the heart of Wicker Park.

The main objective is to present the Capriche project, where the aperitif, as a cultural tradition, has become one of the most representative elements of the identity of many European countries. The goal is to promote bilateral trade between Southern Europe producers and American importers and exporters.

The promotion will be sponsored by Hazi with an EU grant, with a total of 13 companies that already export products to the US. Participating companies include six products: Txakoli (Getariako Txakolina,  Bizkaiko Txakolina,  Arabako Txakolina), Piparra de Ibarra, Basque Cantabrian White Tuna and Basque Cantabrian Anchovy.

It is an opportunity to discover the characteristics of these products, their background and their environment. It is the ideal date to stimulate commercial transactions and encourage knowledge about our products and their producers.

During the next month of November, different activities will be organized in Chicago to promote the wide variety of products in Europe, where producers will directly explain the attractiveness of their products. Participants will be able to experience the cultural background and know the richness of the region’s food thanks to direct contact with the producers.
